Top 10 Vigo Shore Excursions
On the face of it, the Spanish cruise port of Vigo is the perfect cruise to not need to book a shore excursion at as you docked close to the centre of town and can easily walk to many of its attractions.
One problem is the fact that Vigo is incredibly hilly, which can make it difficult for many to get around parts of the city and especially is hilltop Castro fortress.
Another issue is the popularity of the port and the number of ships that call there which can often mean that you have already visited Vigo, have explored all you want to see in the city and now you want to explore the region around Vigo.
The final big issue is the great choice of shore excursions that are on offer in the Galician region of north-west of Spain.
But just what are the top 10 Vigo shore excursions? That is just what I answer in this list, which is based on my experience of visiting the port on a cruise holiday and the research I did before visiting there.
